I'm Too Young For This.........

I recently became a Grandmother. Yes, yes, I said GRANDmother. The teenager, who is now 18 and thinks she knows everything, had a baby April 19th. Or was it the 20th? I don't know! See? I'm a terrible Grandmother. Anyway. Her name is Myla Jean, aka MJ. I like being a Grandmother. Two reasons......1.) It's not my kid. I don't have to wake up with her, feed her, change stinky diapers or lose sleep. And 2.) It's not my kid. ;) I still get to cuddle her, hold her, love on her and then give her back!!. HAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! Here she is.......

EEEEEKKKKK!! Squishy baby goodness!!!! I just love her to pieces. :) Lex and Lo are now Aunt & Uncle. They're in love with her, too. Especially Lex. He loves babies. Lo is a little too worried about her. "WHY ARE YOU NOT FEEDING HER SHE IS CRYYYYYYYING!!!!!!" She was a bit stressed about the crying. After we got home from visiting them Lo said to me...."Mom. I am never ever having kids. It will hurt too bad and I am not ok with that. I am not having kids. Don't ask me to." Fine by me, kid! :) <3

Fine....Just Don't Call Me Grandma

So my teenager is having a baby. But don't worry, "she's 18 years old and knows what she's doing". -_- She met a boy, fell in love and BAM! That's it, they NEEDED to have a baby. Like, right now. So yeah, they made the choice to do this, and now this is due in April. Actually, her name is Mila Jean. Thankfully they chose a normal name and not something like Brooklyn or some other "lyn" version of a decent name someone decided wasn't good enough. Whatever. She is coming and there is nothing I can do about it. I was pissed when I first found out. I mean I was livid, I was "I never want to see you, that piece of shit boyfriend or that baby" pissed. Oh mouth, listening to anger before brain, haven't I told you about that?? Words that I wish I had spoken just a bit differently. Hey, I have the right to be angry. My teenage daughter, who is bipolar, on heavy meds, who makes very poor decisions all the time, had just gone and gotten pregnant on purpose and she quit school. I mean....what could go wrong???????? Everything. And being her mother, that is what I see.....everything going wrong. But, she is 18, in charge of her own life and self, she has the right to make her own decisions, even the bad ones, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. So I let go and accepted it, I don't like it, but I have to accept it. Just don't call me grandma.

Forget Lia Sophia!! I'm Throwing A Home Vasectomy Party!

I'm pretty sure everyone knows where I stand on having more kids. I'm all done. I would love to have a ton of kids, but the reality of it is, I just can't handle more. I have my hands full as it is. So when one night of passion turns into an almost 2 week scare wait, I think it's time to do something about it. I'm talking about a vasectomy. My husband needs to get it done. And fast! You see, I can't take any kind of birth control with hormones in it due to the fact that it turns me into the Devil himself. I'm not talking about a little moodiness, I'm talking about wanting to kill someone, beat someone or wanting to run away from home. It was bad. Getting the IUD taken out was the best thing ever. I had the Mirena  8 years ago and loved it! No problems whatsoever. So after Lo was born I wanted to try it again. HUUUUUUUGE mistake! Horrible side effects that time around. I am just now losing the extra 30 pounds I packed on almost immediately after I had it inserted. Speaking of which, I really should do an update post about Operation Get Sexy soon. Things are going well. :) Anyway! After I had it taken out I told the hubby that I was all done having kids. He needed to seriously think about getting a vasectomy, because I would divorce him if I "accidently" got pregnant. We all know that he wants more kids, and all it would take would be a bottle of wine and a very late night and BAM. Pregnant. "But, Honey!! You said I could!!!" -_- Yeah. Right. Ok. Something like that just happen recently and all I have to say is this.......THANK GAWD I'M NOT PREGNANT!! I'm not gonna lie, I thought I was. I was like...."Well, you were there, too, Nina, so you can't complain. Just go with it". I was talking myself into it just in case I was, so when I saw those 2 lines I wouldn't lose it. But I'm not. And I'm happy! Now.....time to get the hubs on board with the vasectomy, because I'd hate to have to do it myself. he. he. he. he. he.

Stupid Time Change!!!

I am so sick of my kid waking up early. What happened to 7-8 o'clock?!?! HUH?!?!? ((sigh)) Even my Lola is waking up early, which is 7-8. That's way too early!!! The kids seriously need to get back on track or Mommy is going to lose her mind!!!

In other news.....I gave away my breast pump last night. ((sigh)) I dunno. I'm kinda sad about it, but I am glad I'm able to help a friend out. Debbie, Dominic's Mom, has no idea what she's doing. I also gave her the last of my Domperidone. That stuff was a life saver!! I had a hard time keeping my supply up for a while, but a few of those pills and it went right back to where it was. Love it! I'm going over today to help her out some. She needs sleep, so I'm going to take her little man off her hands for a while. :D I can't WAIT!!! I love holding newborn babies. LOVE IT!!

Yet ANOTHER Milestone!!

Lola pulled herself up on the couch and stood there playing with her toys. :D I can see it already.....Lola walking BEFORE Thanksgiving. :) Then I'm REALLY going to be in trouble. LOL! That's fine by me. We're already done with formula and Lex is really taking off with the potty training, so soon I'll have no more babies in my house. ((sigh)) I can't lie, I won't miss it one bit. I am done with the baby phase. I am very happy/content with my 3 wonderful children and I wanna keep it that way. So yeah....GO LOLA!!!! HAH!!

Teething REALLY Sucks!!

I'd have 12 kids if they didn't have to teethe. I'm dead serious. I can do anything, I can handle anything, but a baby that is teething is pure Hell to me. The constant needing to be held (not easy when your "baby" is the size of a 2 year old), constant crying/whining, waking up multiple times a night and then getting up WAY too early!!! I just hate it. I'm just thankful that it seems to be almost over for now. Two more teeth have cut through and it looks like the rest will follow pretty quickly.......I hope. o_O Lola is napping right now. She woke up at midnight, 4 and then was up for good at 6. x_x I'm beat!!!! She has been crying/whining all morning and eat a LOT!!! Throw in one busy/talkative/needy/whiny 3 year old and it makes for a very loooooooong morning. Blah! I'm just glad I have some peace and quiet now while she naps and he's playing quietly. I'm sure it wont last, so I'll go get a few things done as quickly as possible.

Another Boston Appointment

We will be going to Boston a lot for her Hemangioma appointments! Today was at the Laser Treatment Center. We were late, of course, but they still saw us because "Lola is just too cute"! I swear....we were 30 minutes late, but they took us anyway. Apparently I have to leave 2 hours early just to get there thanks to idiot drivers and talkative toll collectors. -_- Anyway. It went well. They will submit the paper work to our insurance company and we're hoping they will approve the laser treatment!! Since it bleeds a lot, I'm sure they will. I hope!!!!! So please, keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

Day #6 Of Early Intervention

I think Lola is trying to sabotage her Early Intervention sessions. She wanted nothing to do with what we had in mind. She screamed and screamed until I finally sat her down with the object of her desire (Raven's helmet -_-) and left her alone. She actually turned her back on us and played with it. ((sigh)) Paula said that Lola is a 2 year old attitude stuck in a 1 year olds body. LOL!! Paula was able to see just how smart Miss. Lola is though. I gave Lo Lex's bee bucket with is full of instruments and she went for her favorite one.....the triangle. After she found the triangle she rummaged through till she found the wand.....then she sat there and played it. Nothing fancy, just a few tinks then she put it down and clapped for herself. Too cute. Paula said...."Nina, she is very intelligent. You don't see 13 month olds doing things like that.". Yeah....I know. :D We're very proud of her. Anyway. Paula showed me a few things to work on with her. We have work to do today!!!!! :)

Other than that all is well. She's combat crawling all over the place. I can't sweep and mop enough. I literally sweep and mop everyday. It's awful. LOL!! Just the other day I had cleaned the floors perfectly, you could have eaten off of them, then Lo woke up and off she went to play. About 10 minutes later I notice she was playing with something on the floor. I went over and said....."What do got there, Sweetpea?" It was a dead fly. -GAG- She was just very lightly moving it around with her index finger. Thank GAWD she doesn't put anything in her mouth!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! She really doesn't. Ok, well, not small objects like dead flies. -GAG- She'll put a book, a toy or things like that in her mouth, but not small things. Again.....THANK GAWD!! So yeah....not 2 hours after cleaning the floors were they dirty again. Well....maybe not dirty, but you know what I mean. I clean and clean and clean as much as possible, because I just don't like the idea of my baby rolling around in dust, dirt and dead flies. LOL!!!
