I've got too much on my plate. I'm losing my mind. There. I said it. My man thinks I'm Super Mom, but I am failing, miserably. I am behind on the dishes, laundry and cleaning. Granted, I've been working a lot, but this has never been a problem before. I think I need to adjust to having him living with us. It's kind of throwing me off. I have one extra person in the house who needs/wants/loves spending time with me as much as the others. So, just to clarify, I have 3 dogs, a kitten, 3 kids and now a man and they ALL want to spend time with me or need something from me. :) I have a full house and a full heart. I just need to get a new, newer schedule going. Getting a maid would be much easier, but I don't see that happening any time soon. ;)

Being Productive......Or At Least Trying To Be!
Since "D Day" (Divorce Day) started I have barely had time to really clean or organize my house. Things have fallen behind. For example......the fish tank. Those poor fish were swimming in filth. I felt bad, but I literally had no time to clean the tank. It just had to wait. I finally decided on Saturday that I would take the lazy way out and buy a new tank. The old one made too much noise and was leaking, so I got a 10 gallon tank at Walmart for $30! Got home, cleaned the new one and all the new rocks, then filled it with water, treated it and started the filter. I had planned on letting it run for at least 2 days before adding the fish, but when I woke up on Sunday the old fish tank had just died! Talk about good timing!! So the fish were introduced to their new home. :) Lex was ecstatic and I was glad I had finally gotten ONE thing on my list accomplished. YAY ME!! I then went into the kitchen to hear our cursed microwave beeping away and the number 2 flashing over and over again, so I unplugged that damn thing, put a free sign on it and put it on the curb. You have no idea how happy that made me. My mother gave me that microwave a few years ago and it's been cursed from the get go. I wanted to take a hammer to it just to make myself feel better, but then I knew no one would take it. Someone took it less than an hour after I put it on the curb. People will take anything. Another thing on my list completed.......I passed the curse along. YAY ME!! I hope they enjoy the endless beeping. HAH!
Next on my list is the giant pile of clean laundry sitting in front of my closet. What's wrong with me? I could be doing that right now, but then I wouldn't be blogging and then I would feel like I was letting someone out there down and I just can't do that. ;) So there it sits, mocking me and my lazy ass. Then there's the bathrooms.....I am ashamed to say that I haven't scrubbed the floors in weeks. I've done the 'ol "lick and a promise" (quick floor cleaning with a Clorox wipe and a promise to do better the next day. My Grandmother taught me that. Thanks, Nanny!) but I haven't actually washed them. That's pretty gross considering my son likes to spray when he pees. I've actually had to say "You shake AFTER you're done peeing, not WHILE you're peeing!" So I'm pretty sure it's gross down there. I think the best course of action is to play the lottery, win and hire someone to do it for me, because I seriously do not see any free time in the near future to be able to get it all done. Sorry, house! You're on your own for a while. I'm going to lay down now and cry. Or not. ;)

PMS, Preschool & Poopy Diapers
That is my life right now. My teenager acts like she is in a constant state of PMS and it's driving me crazy. Moody, mean and just plain horrible to be around at times. But then she expects everyone to do what she wants them to do. How is that fair? Don't even get me started on the boys. She's not aloud to have boyfriends, but that doesn't stop her from doing it behind my back. -_- Hey, I did it, too. There are worse things she could be doing behind my back, right? Anyway. She came to me and said...."Mom, there's this boy that I really, really like and he really, really, likes me, too. And he like, wants to go out with me, like officially. He said he even wants to meet you and Daddy" Ugh. I hate this. There is nothing worse than a teenage girl dating. Oh wait, there's always teenage girls driving. Now that's scary! I can't even think of that right now. So I talked to Kevin and he thinks the same thing I do.....she's gonna do it anyway, might as well know about it. Agreed. One of us is taking her and her new boyfriend to the movies next weekend. Yuck. I told her that he attitude had better improve with this news or she'll be babysitting while Kevin and I go out to the movies! Let's see if that happens.
I caved. I caved and am letting Lex go to preschool. Why did I change my mind? Because he really wants to go to school. That is all he talks about lately....school, school, school. Maybe it's because Raven goes to school and he wants to be like her, or maybe he just wants to get out of the house like Raven. HAH! So whatever. It's gonna cost us $150 a month! We went and looked at one that's about a 5 minute drive from our house and he really liked it. We liked it, too. The teachers were super nice, the place was very clean, they work with the kids to prepare them for Kindergarten and not just "babysit" them for 2 1/2 hours a day, 3 days a week. He would be going Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 9-11:30 a.m., with the option to go longer till 1. We're still talking about it. To be honest, I don't think Kevin is ready to let go just yet. I really don't. But then again, he's not the one who has to teach him here at home, I am. I think this will be good for him. :)
Lola, oh Lola. Miss. Lola still is not walking. ((sigh)) At this point I am at a loss. I don't know what to do anymore. She hates Early Intervention, she hates it when we try and make her walk and she just hates walking period. Almost all her jeans have holes in them now from her crawling around outside. -_- She's getting to the point where she doesn't like her hands to be dirty, which then means she cries a lot when we're outside. It's starting to not be enjoyable for me anymore. I still do it so Lex can be outside, but she doesn't last very long. It's unfair to him. Even going to the park is hard work. I have to carry her around, and if I put her down she cries and won't crawl. She loves to slide and she's good at going up the stairs, which is great because the park we go to has a toddler area. That gives my poor arms a break for about a minute, then she dives head first down the slide. o_O I ache. We just got back from the park and I'm dead tired now. Ugh. She has so much fun though, so I do it. :) She's been really cranky lately, too. She's constipated again, that may be why. -_- We're on day #3 or Miralax and now the wait begins......lots of poopy diapers comin'!! HAH!
So that's my busy, hectic, fun life at the moment. I'm happy to say that I've started my gardening early this year. YAY!! I can't wait to add more flowers ever where. It's going to look amazing out there. Being in the Sun has helped my mood so much. I wasn't doing too good last week. I skipped a lot of exercises and drank wine during the week. BOOOO!!! I feel bloated and floppy. I'm back though! I did my morning exercises, ate right and now I'm going to go do more exercises. Might as well while I have to time. It's not often that the house is quiet, so I like to take advantage of it. :) I'll leave you with a picture from yesterday....

Halloween Decorating, But No Apple Picking
This weekend was supposed to be our annual family apple picking weekend. Saturday we were going to go apple picking, Sunday I was going to bake all day and the MAN and the kids were going to decorate. Rain had other ideas for Saturday and the MAN got a call saying that he had some extra work ready for him for extra money but it had to be done before Monday morning. -_- I was so disappointed!! This means that we'll have to go without him next weekend. Why without him? Well, because the MAN puts together a pretty big horror convention here in town every year for the past 5 years. At first it was great. We only had Raven and loads of time and money to devote to putting that thing together, he would have to be out of town 5-6 times a year then gone all that weekend, and most times Raven and I would be with him. It used to be fun! Then came Lex. Less money, less time. He wasn't gone as much, which was great, but I rarely went with him. Actually, I never went! I was home with BOTH the kids. So he manned up and only went away 3-4 times a year promoting his convention. Big step! Then came Lola. He only goes away ONCE a year now, maybe twice and he takes Lex and Raven with him. HUGE step! I love it. But that means that our weekends are limited as to when we can do our family apple picking weekend. Seems like it's either been raining or he's had work. Work, work, work!! I told him to cut back this month because we're so busy, but he's become addicted to working more and more for more and more money. Guess I can't blame him. Christmas is right around the corner and even though we already started shopping we still have a lot to buy. HELL! The teenager is gonna cost us an arm and a leg! o_O She just wants a Visa card with money on it, but I can't just get her that! There are things I want to buy her. So when he says he needs to work, I bite my tongue and smile.
Yesterday the kids and I decorated the house for Halloween. Lex had fun! He kept saying..."Now let's DECORATE!!" LOL!! Speaking of Lex, I'm pretty sure he's night time potty trained as well. We put pull-ups on him at bedtime but it's been dry every morning so far. He wakes up and goes straight to the potty. YAY!!! So much cheaper. LOL!!! Hope I didn't just jinx that!! O_O
Lots to do this week. Nothing today, but the rest of the week is filled. Work tomorrow, haircut Wednesday,shopping/cleaning/picking my Mom up/packing our weekend bags Thursday, Friday we'll be helping the MAN and doing lots of swimming at the hotel pool. Lola will be here with my Mom, Lex, Raven and I will be staying with the MAN at the hotel and then apple picking Saturday. -_- I hate it when my schedule is full! Can't wait for next week!

I Can't Believe I Just Said That!
Things I've had to say to my son just this morning alone......
"Lex, please stop trying to fart in the tub, you might poop instead."
"No, Lola does no want you to pick her nose."
"Stop trying to stick that up Lola's nose NOW!"
"Put down the tampon please."
"Lex, you can and you will walk...no, your feet aren't broken."
"Lex, Mommy does not want you feeding Chewy's but.....cause it's not hungry and it's not ok!"
"My gawd, boy!!! How many times do I have to tell you NOT to chase Chewy with your butt!"
"Stop trying to force feed that ball your sister!!"
"Lex, Mommy does not want you to put your face in her butt"
The list goes on and on......he's a handful and a half this morning, to say the least. I'm completely exhausted. x_x He's lucky he's so damn cute....

Lola, on the other hand has been an Angel!! She slept all night until 8:30 and is napping right now!!! We're very lucky she's so good, I don't think we could handle another child as busy as Lex. BLAH!!!!!!!
