3 Months

Lola is almost 3 months old! Where does the time go? Actually, I love it. I can't wait for her to start all her first. Rolling, sitting up, walking, talking....sleeping through the night. LOL!! I don't really mind getting up once a night, because if I don't my breasts hurt. I wonder how that's going to work later on? How much pain am I going to be in? -_- Hopefully not too much. I'll let you all know once she does start sleeping through the night. As of right now she gets up once, at 2 a.m. and the sleeps till 6. I love breastfeeding because all I have to do is roll over and pop a boob in her mouth and that's it! Talk about lazy!!! LOL!

I'm super sick today. It just hit me all of a sudden. I would have thought it was mastitis but Lex is sick too so that leaves the common cold. Ugh. So....very....sore and tired. I hate being sick. I have an appointment at the spa today but I think I may have to cancel. I wouldn't want to infect others. -_- ((sigh)) Poor me. LOL!

Ugh!

This morning was HORRIBLE! Lola refused to nurse while lying on her side, she fussed and pulled and cried, so I gave up. We went downstairs, I put her in her crib, warmed up some breastmilk and gave it to her in the bottle while I pumped. -_- I don't know what her problem was, but it was really frustrating. She's fine now. Raven is downstairs shaking bells in front of her to make her smile. :) She loves it when things are dangling right in front of her and making noise. So cute! :)

I gotta run. Muffins in the oven and Lex wants orange juice, but I don't have any so I have to make him some. Gives me a chance to use my juicer! YAY!! :)

The Baby Makin' Factory......

Is officially closed! YAY!!!!!! I went in to have a checkup and my OBGYN asked what I wanted to do about birth control and I said I wanted the IUD and he said..."Let's do it now! I can insert it and be done in 10 minutes." Perfect. WHEW!!!!!!!!! What a relief. We can now start having sex again. HAHAHAHAAA!! Poor Kevin was all excited when I told him they put it in today but then was crushed when I said he had to wait a few days to make sure there was no infection. Poor guy, he's been so patient. hehehe!!

14.5 Pounds!

Oh. My. God. She's HUGE!!!!! HAHAHAA!!!! Kevin took her to her appointment and I had just pumped her a fresh bottle to take with him, so she could have a snack. Of course, she's eating when the doctor walked in and the first thing she said to Kevin was...."Never mind the baby, what are you feeding your wife?! Lola's so big! Tell her keep up the good work with the breastfeeding". :D Yeah, I know. hehehee!! Anyway. She weighs 14.5 pounds and is 24 inches long. Our big girl.♥ Shots went well. She got really angry and screamed, but then stopped once Kevin picked her up. :) Raven cried during the shots. LOL!! She did worse than Lola. HAH!! While they were gone Lex and I went on a walk around the neighborhood. We had a blast!!! Both of them are napping, so I have some "ME" time. So nice. :)

Lola's Appointment & 2 Months ALREADY!!

Yesterday was Lola's appointment with the Pediatric Dermatologist. It went really well and I learned a lot. The thing on her face is a Hemangioma . It's common and not dangerous at all, but they do want to keep an eye on it to make sure that it A.) doesn't get any bigger and B.) doesn't start bleeding. I have to keep her nails cut or keep gloves on her at all times to avoid an accidental scratch. That wouldn't be good. But yeah, it's not the worst one they've seen, so I'm not worried. :)

You can sorta see it in that picture. I do have more pictures of it, but I can't find them right now and I don't feel like searching. BLAH! She has another appointment today to get her first round of shots. :( I'm making Kevin take her because I just can't do it. 3 appointments in one week and seeing her cry is too much for me. So Lex and I are staying home and Kevin and Raven are taking her. If it doesn't rain I'm going to take Lex for a walk to the park. That's his new thing........going for walks. :) He's so cute.

Ok, I'm off to get things ready. :)

That Was Horrible!!!!!!

Poor, poor Lola. :( She was a mess yesterday. They held her down, I refused to, then the doctor had to clip it THREE times!!!!!! Good Lord. It was awful. I cried and cried and cried. :( She cried and cried and cried, too. The look of terror on her face was too much to bear. I almost told them to stop!!!!!!!!! But they were done so quickly, thank God! It took less than 2 minutes all together and she was done. I picked her up and started nursing her. She fell asleep. :( I am SO glad that's over! she would have had speech problems in the future if I hadn't of had it done, so it's good we got it done now because if we waited they would have to sedate her and there is NO way I want that. Too dangerous for such a small child, I wouldn't want to risk it. She was in pain last night, so I broke down and gave her Motrin. She fell asleep right afterwards and slept all night. She woke up at 6, nursed and went rigt back to sleep. My poor baby. :( I think she may sleep all day. That's just fine. Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets!!! :)

Great Night!!!!

Lola slept till 5 a.m.!!! WOOTWOOT!! Too bad I woke up trying not to vomit all over the place. o_O I have not been feeling well the past few days. No, I am not pregnant. No sex till birth control! LOL! Anyhow. She woke up at 5, ate and went back to sleep. I hope she's reaching the point where she needs more sleep, because Mommy needs more sleep, too!! LOL! I can't complain, she really only got up once a night, maybe twice. I had a plan to get her on track and I see it worked. Let's hope it does.

Her appointment is today at 4. You know what? I'm so sick of appointments. Our calendar is always full and I hate it! What a pain. UGH! I'm off to get some things done while Lola naps and Lex watches LazyTown

Big Day Tomorrow!!

Lola is getting her tongue clipped tomorrow. I don't know how I feel about anymore. On one hand I'm excited to get rid of the shield, but the thought of my baby girl in pain is almost too much to bear. I don't know.......Kevin and I are going to see what the doctor thinks tomorrow, if she really needs it or not. If he says no, then I'll continue to breastfeed, pump and give her berastmilk in the bottle as well. I can do it. It's kind of a pain, but it's for her, so it's worth it. :)

I'll update after the appointment.
